Attempting to clear her name, she becomes entangled in his wealthy family’s drama, stalked by true crime podcasters, and—continuing on her trend of having terrible taste in men—possibly dating the real murderer.

Broke Betties was an online magazine for broke single women living in New York City. Led by Betty Bedford, it featured the romantic pursuits and sexual escapades of women trying to stay afloat in the city’s Olympic-sized dating pool.

The magazine published daily Cheap Thrills to help Betties get the most bang for their buck and special guest stories submitted as Betties Anonymous

The stories of Betty Bedford were optioned by Summerhill Entertainment to be adapted into a television series.
